    Fault code reader ecu question?

    Hi I bought a code reader for my v plate s3 on the ecu info
    it said
    vag no: 8L0920980B
    component:
    AB-KOMBIINSTR. VDO
    D05
    coding:01444
    wsc: 00411

    Then did it again now it says
    vag no: 8L0906018k
    component:
    1.8L R4/5VT
    0003
    coding: 05610
    WSC: 14647
    As you can see totally different can any one tell me why it has changed over night?

    VCDS = Ross-Tech: Home

    Best fault finding software for VAGs on the market... code readers aren't all that really...

    Easiest way is to check the boost level... if its over 12psi then its been mapped... with VCDS you could log airflow and that would tell you too... stage 1/2 maps are around 200gs of airflow (or more depending on mods), std airflow is around 180gs
