    205's are great weekenders

not that i said that when mine dumped it's coolant on the drive this afternoon - but it was a minor overheat - I hope!!!!

if the a3 has to go then 205 fills part of the fun gap. let me know what you get.

Just hoping the 205 is as good as I remember it ?

Quite a few good examples about and heard of a firm justgtis.com who only deal in 205's , they do all the hard work and you pay over the odds and get a mint car .

Think it might be the lazy way to do it.

Paul / myrichdad, If you have the 15" 309/205 GTi wheels that need tyres...Im your man.

I have a set of 4 309/205GTi (1.9i variants) alloys (medioca condition) but with new tyres. I think they only done about 2000 miles although the actual tyres are about 4 years old! I wrote the 309GTI off many years ago but kept the road wheels. Dunno why now...

They have just been sitting in my garage collecting dust so if you want to take them of my hands just PM me.

Re: Well its got to go.

Thanks for the offer...mine's a 1.6 with std 1.6 alloys at the mo, and tyres are all pretty recent (although I've never heard of the make!!!!) Probably won't stick 1.9's on it.

More likely to swap for a 1.9.

    Thanks anyway - nice thought.

    Kev.

I used to have Limited Edition 1.9 full leather etc... a quality car absolutely loved it. Sold it to make way for my S3. Wished I still had it.

Vman - you are wishing you still had it aswell I take it!!

I love the gti, but the s3 kills it in every area but fuel and steering feel.
