AMD Stage 1 - Chip

Hi,

Does anyone know if the AMD Chip is a flashed version of the original ECU or its actually an addon chip. Just wondering if I drop off my car to the Dealership that it won't get overwritten from a routine service..

AMD chip stage one makes no difference to Audi and will not be affected by any servicing as far as I know and from my own experience

It won't get overwritten by Audi, but your warranty may be affected.

I spoke to the dealers about the warranty aspect. I know i've done a few mods /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif but lets just say my door came off its still under warranty as the chip or suspension or exhaust etc doesn't have no impact on it and they are fine with that..
