if i wonted BIG power from my s3

Hi all , if i was to go a bit silly and thats IF i was how much power could i get from the 1.8t without it braking every 5 mins ? As ive seen a few 500+bhp cars but they have 3.2 engines and if i do go down this road id like to keep the 1.8t as there arnt meany about or is it just not up to taking big power ? or would i be better of getting a diffrent car as id like the 5.0 v10 m5 and there close to my buget now i.e 25k for a minter ?

Getting power from a 20v engine is easy enough... you can get over 700hp if you try hard enough but it will come at a price... and not just the costs... drivability will be affected and the car will be more difficult to drive normally... there is a reason people use 3.2's to get big power and thats because they do it at less boost and are more drivable than trying to get the same power from a lowly 4 pot...

You cannot compare an M5 to a 500hp 8L S3... they will feel completely different to drive...
