help please my new oil pick up is shorter then the old one?

The dumb idiots at tps have given me the wrong one then not happy as the sump is off and its a 40 mile round trip my old one don't look bad gonna clean it and and put it in my ultrasonic cleaner afew times

This is what I got from MK TPS the other day. What part number did you get? Sometimes they have similar items in the same bins - I got the wrong dipstick guide tube that way once.

Either way it's wrong.

Just clean up your old one with some brake cleaner, making sure the pickup mesh is clear and re fit it. Not a big deal..

well all done, the old one looked very clean after loads of brake cleaner and around 10 mins in the ultrasonic cleaner so im happy with putting it back on

this is my part number 06b115251 yours is a 06a so they have given me the wrong one

Yep, definitely 06A not 06B. And the replacement O-ring is N028 2222.
