New A3 owner needs advice

Hi,

I decided to join the world of Audi owners a few weeks ago. Loving it so far but I'm looking for an upgrade on my stereo and haven't got a clue where to start. A few of the guys said the RNS-E but can this be wired into a 2010 1.6tdi? the parts man at audi had trouble looking up a aux cable and quoted over £400 for this. So, if its possible what's is a reasonable price for the unit and can anyone recommend a fitter?

What do you have fitted now, post a picture and might be able to help there are plenty of other options other that audi.

It's a Chorus unit that's currently fitted

that'll be a Chorus II+ in a 2010 then? I'm junking my Concert this weekend & going with a Pioneer! Audi want too much for the functionally castrated rns-e IMO.

I did look at the pioneer but I've even told by Audi that if I put anythin in that's none standard the it'll void my warranty.
