boost leak maybe?

just insured and drove my aum a3 2003 for the first time (properly) there is a slight wining/whistle, i have been in a a3 before and sont think i herd this, could it be a boost leak and where is best to check for this? also installed a forge 007 dv but cant hear anything at all?

log it with VCDS doing a 3rd gear 2K to redline run or smoke test it

where is the best place to get a smoke test around west midlands? and price? is it possible to do it yourself

I'd see if Rtech could book you in for a smoke test. As for the DV it's not supposed to make any noise

ok thanks, well may be getting a re-map soon as herd it is the best thing to do. so may book in for both cheers for replies
