Additional water pump flow direction

Hi folks

Got a MTM'd, AMK lump in my Golf mk3 GTI

I have the additional water pump wired up and working correctly but I'm just wondering what the correc direction of flow is

I have it so its flowing towards the top radiator hose from turbo

Is this the correct way ?
Would somebody kindly look at their S3 and confirm?

The outlet thats inline with the pump goes to the turbo, the outlet at 90 deg to the pump goes top the rad top hose

That's how I have it

So in a nutshell, it takes the water away ffrom the turbo ?
