Hi,

got fed up using sticky pads to fix my rear number plate (they keep getting soggy and the glue doesn't hold), so I've treated my car to a plastic number plate holder as I didn't fancy drilling holes in the plate.

Anyhoo, I'm trying to figure out what size bolt/screw I need to attach the number plate holder - there are two bolt holes which I've so far been unable to find a suitable size bolt.

The plastic capped screws that my local Audi deal gave me are two small (diameter) and the two plastic bolts I've tried appear to have the wrong thread.

I've searched around, but everyone else is using sticky pads/tape. Call me Capt. Awkward, but I really want to bolt them in place :tapedshut:

Thanks,

Mark.

I think there M6, i had to tap mine out as they were rusty.

Mine are looking a bit rusty too, will try WD40 and an M6 Bolt.

Cheers,

Mark.
