Fifth Gear is Back

I did post this in the General Automotive Section, but not sure if anyone saw it or not.

Its a new series and its on Discovery channel now on Sky rather than channel 5 on Mondays and back to being an hour long.

This weeks episode i thought was really good.

Was a good bit that they did on performance on a clio sport, showing which mod was best, bluefin remap, ,miltek exhaust or tyres.....

The result was the car ran quickest with the tyres alone.

Anyway, if you get a chance to watch it, check it out

No, just watch Dave re-runs of UK TG, and the odd bit of Wheeler Dealers

Will have to check it to see how bad it is!

Not sure why Channel 5 ditched it, Disco still has the same sponsor (Admiral), so dont think it was down to funding.

I thought it was a very good opening episode and look forward to further episodes.

As for the TG from the U S of A, proper pile of 'garbage'!!

i quite liked fifth gear originally, more serious and better consumer info than top gear. i DID love topgear for the comedy, banter, and the car reviews, however i think they've gone too far with some things and its gone way off what a car show is.
