    S3 misfire, help!

Just jumped in my car (2002 S3 BAM) and its misfiring like mad, I'm thinking coil pack but is there any way of checking this? I've got no engine management light on and I plugged my diagnostic reader in and no fault codes, the car was fine on my way hole
from work last night, any help would be appreciated, thanks

With the car running, Unplug the coil packs one at a time, the car should cut out until you get to the misfiring one in which case I should make no difference!

You can unplug the injectors one at a time... this is easier than trying to unplug a coil pack due to all the stuff thats normally on top of them especially on an S3... they are joined together but you can ping one at a time to listen for engine note change... if the note doesn't change then thats the offending one

Think it 058 905 105 but I'd check with a dealer to be sure! Might be worth checking with an Audi dealer as they ha a recall on the coil packs so if your is in the effected vin range and it's not been done you may get it done for free!!
