Short shifter

I just got my short shifter(tarmac eater) off ebay,nice bit of kit.
It comes with 3 bolts and wondering how to go about fitting it, anybody on here fitted one?
I know it's only a 13mm bolt holding on the main part, just the extra bolts throwing me.

If their what i think they are, is to allow fitment to different models, theyll be a ball shapped fitting bolt, and 2 that are for different sized circlips.
Just nip onto forges website for a fitting guide.
