Post What does this loose pipe do?

On the back of my K04 is a flexy pipe that goes into a steel fixed one with a nut on the end, sits in the middle of the turbo, just behind the TIP. I guess ita likely to be oil, well when cleaning my tip I noticed it was loose! Very loose! Tinged it up with a 17mm and all seema good. I can upload a picture later when I am at my PC if that helps anyone. Thanks.

EGT probe... fit in the hotside of the turbo and they tend to work loose... 17mm spanner (as you have used) and tighten...

If its the pipe I think your taking about the it's an oil feed/return for the turbo, a picture will help, and it's a very important pipe

Won't be the oil feed/drain if tightened by a 17mm spanner plus if the oil feed was loose you would soon know it as the oil light would come on pronto...
