So first a bit of background of the car. X reg S3 APY engine with black leather interior and armrest (high roller)! Bought it a few months ago off a friend with 135k on the clock, with my friend having owned it for 7 years and putting the majority of the miles on himself. During his ownership the cambelt snapped @80k miles and was repaired at the cost of about £3500 and then @90k the turbo went! So hopefully his loss has been my gain as i should have a fairly healthy platform to start modding on! The car itself has fsh and the interior is pretty good considering its mileage!

Boring stuff over.

My first mods have been
- Badger 5 TIP and heat shield
- Forge 008 DV
- N249 bypass and SAI removal
- Yellow dog bone mount
- 'Wellycooler' FMIC
- KW V1 Inox coilovers

Future plans
- Full correction detail
- Respray key marks I recently got down the side of my car!

So major changes in the next few weeks once my rods and bits arrive from Canada! Work will be carried out at Parsons Performance, East Sussex, anyone local to this area - use these guys! Very knowledgable and have helped me out loads as this is my first VAG car. Only had experiences with Renaults before so forced induction tuning is completely new to me! Bambo there makes a pretty good cup of tea as well ;)

Will update with pictures soon, but as it stands I have none and the car is in need of a decent clean!

I welcome any criticism or comments if you think i've missed something in my plans as i'll take any advice going!

Pics or it never happend!

Sounds like you got good plans for it though

Sounds good, looking forward to the updates.

very good base i have just bought something similar, 2000 reg s3 with apy currently on 126000 but had new engine under warranty at audi dealer at 76000 and new turbo at 97000. looking forward to see what is achiveable :p

Just ordered the r32 rear arb - Should i do the front as well or does it sort of negate the benefit of changing the rear?

Also, sourced a LCR brembo set up off here (Thanks s3gazz) so that will be arriving shortly and will be going straight on the car, along with the milltek when it arrives!

Rods won't be arriving for a while as i don't believe INA engineering currently have stock! So the mani dp decat will have to wait until the rods are here but oh well, cat back and new brakes will do for now :)

@Gaz - Yeah im pretty sure i paid around the £120 mark for mine

where abouts did you get the wellycooler set up from and what was rough cost??

Toyosports for the cooler, about £90, all the plumbing etc, eBay for about £120. All the info is in the stickies though!

Just had my milltek cat-back, r32 r-arb and brembo's fitted! Feels like a different car now, very very planted and finally have some confidence in its stopping ability now! Still waiting for Rods to arrive from Canada, as my manifold, decat and dp are waiting to be fitted!

Quick picture of where it's progressed to so far

Recently had the milltek non-res fitted along with r32 r-arb! Still waiting for the exhaust to louden up but the arb! What a difference, anyone contemplating it should go for it. Really stiffens the car up and makes it a lot more purposeful in the corners. Love it!
