I have a question about my standard Audi CD changer, can I get a 10 CD Sony one for example and just plug it in? 6 CDs isn't enough and sometimes my homebrew CD-Rs don't always load (I think it's getting a bit picky in its old age!)

My car has the BOSE fitted, so not sure if that means I'm going to run in all sorts of issues....I hope not! Has anyone else upgraded the CD changer and if so, is it straight forward?

Thanks.

Hmm...sounds like it's not that straight forward. I'm going to research a second hand phatbox or something.

Does the Phatbox play iTunes purchased "protected AAC audio files"? Or will I need to decode the protection and convert to MP3?

if you want another Cd Changer to see if it is any better i'm sure you can have mine....

i have an alpine headunit, which doesn't use the changer, so it is all still plumbed in (with my CD's trapped in it :( )not doing anything...
