Why i s the recomended audi s3 8l cambelt change due at 110 on all engine coads apart from amk at 77?,just weird how the one engine coad is so different.

No idea but IMO do it at 70k regardless... change the water pump and tensioner damper too

Yes i will do,just abit weird on the amk lowwer than the rest.

Think my manual suggested 115k km rather than miles which makes that 71.5k miles for a cambelt change..

Maybe got lost in translation like the way everyone thinks S3's etc are 210/225 hp when its ps (207hp/221hp)

yeah 70 or 80k, im sure i heard that audi changed it down from 100k due to failures (i could be wrong so don't take my word on that, just my 10 pence).

Always best to change it early, better safe than sorry, I bought my S3 Sept 2012 at 62,000 miles and had it changed, I changed it again in Nov 2011 at 105,000 miles because the clowns at Audi didn't change the tensioner damper the first time. As Tuffty says do the tensioner damper and waterpump at same time.
