S3 due for service few Q's plz :-)

Hi S3 is due for full service iv only owned her 2months now and ill be doing the service myself due to cash but also nobody else is gona take ther time,effort and care as much us urself anyway. Its a 51 plate AMK code with 108k on clock.

I was wondering what service parts everyone is using and from where ? Audi dealer / Eurocarparts / GSF,or net sumwer, price and quality?
Is anybody using uprated or better quality parts eg. K&N oil filter or a better fuel filter etc is there any point in these or are standard parts good enuff? Also whats best oil, its done 108k so what are you high milage guys using iv topped it up with Castrol Edge 5W30 last month i think its abit thin...


Quick recap of what ill be doing....
-Oil and Oil filter change ? + (sump ring)
-Pollen filter-standard
-Air filter-standard (ill be getting induction or uprated pannel weni have abit more ££££)
-Fuel filter ?
-Spark plugs iridium or platinum n type?

If thr is anything iv missed out let me know guys n thanks for the help...

I normally use a combination of GSF or OEM parts... oil wise go for 5W40 fully synth (I use Quantum Platinum), filters from GSF who also normally sell the sump drain plug for a quid...

Spark plug wise use NGK's... GSF supply Bosch super 4's normally but you can get platinum or irridium 6's on ebay or from Sparkplugs UK NGK Champion Denso Sparkplug, Glowplug and Lambda Sensors...

Platinums are PFR6Q and irridiums are BKR6EIX
