Hi all,

Posting on behalf of a friend who has a old tt.
the reason I'm posting here is I had an s3 and everyone was very helpful, also I understand that the lights are similar.
anyways, as I'm sure many know a common problem is lights pointing too low. My friends car went into the garage and they tried to charge 1k for new xenon lights. I want to try a few things to try and fix the problem. I know the light height can be adjusted manually, does anyone have a noob guide or give me a rough step by step into doing this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

If its pointing at the floor the first step is to scan the Xenon range controller for fault codes.

The car has automatic headlamp levelling, and if this system develops a fault, the system will point the lights at the floor as a failsafe.

Its probably one of the ride height sensors that are mounted on the suspension.
