help,throttle body seized

Anyone got any tips for me,took it off the car ,it's like a metal flappy thing,gave it a bit of a poke,moved a bit,obviously spring loaded,anyone know how to free it off??
friggin epc light on....anyone know the part number?apy engine.

have you tried a throttle body reset in vagcom?

that buterfly is motorised, and driven by the drive by wire system.

i would have thought a liberal soaking and cleaning with WD40 wouldnt do any harm, and any residue blown into the engine would get burnt off easily.

thanks mate,cleaned it yesterday.Haven't got vag-com, but i heard if you leave the ign on for 3 mins it resets itself...i'll give it a go.

its reputed to do a reset if you drop the battery off for a bit.

just leave the ignition on but engine not running the first time you turn engine on after battery reconnecetd.

you should hear the motor wiring away doing its thing,

dont touch the throttle pedal when its working.

Just tried that,but to no avail,epc light still on and running badly.
Part number on the side of the throttle body is 060 133 062c
Can anyone confirm if this is correct.
