first off i had a search and only really seem to find 'whats this' or 'ticking!!!' threads

well mine does tick, but the small pipe coming from it has broke. its still attached but it has a small hole, if i put my finger over it, it stops/lowers the noise

anything to be worried about?

am i right in saying its a vacum hose? will effect mpg?

yea i saw that but its a very involved process i believe and for very little gain??

I just replaced the broken pipe on mine with a bit of silicon.... I assume you mean the one coming off the top of the canister going off to where the fuel lines are clipped? (there are three outlets at this point)

yes tuffty its the one going down to the fuel lines
