Will 16" wheels fit (5x100) my S3 ?

I have standard calipers and discs, currently have 17" avus alloys. Thinking of getting some winter wheels.

Will 16" wheels from a golf etc fit (5x100) my S3 ?

I don't know the answer but curious to why 16"?????? Maybe problems on offset et35 standard....

If you after 4 cheap avus 17" pm me and I mean cheap as need a refurb but are genuine ronal s3 rims, only pm though due to forum rules

Yes, but only certain wheels, as they need to clear the calipers. Ideal rims that fit are Golf4 4motion OEM 16" 7 spokes. I've tried.

Yes 16's will fit. I have a set that I don't want that you could have for a bargain price too

wow, thats a quick response guys.
16" as I'll be putting winter tyres on and they're cheaper and I can go for a narrower tyre.

Something between 205/55 to 195/60, depending on whats available.

I may get a set of spacers that'll allow me to use 112 x 5 wheels. I know the spacer themselves aren't cheap, but it'll pad out my standard 17" avus nicely too.
