Look at all the pipes under the inlet manifold

How To Clean the Throttle Body: VW & Audi DIY

Take it that amk is electronic throttle body? If so 4 alankey bolts, one little pipe on the top, a plug to unclip, a gaskets not to lose and a intercooler pipe to come off. I always clean mine with electrical connection cleaner from maplins but break cleaner will be ok in small quantities. Dont move the flap unless you have vag com to reset it.

I just cleaned my TB and before the the rev counter would bounce at idle and after cleaning it out its all good no more bounce!
