steering tight one way normal the other ?

Hi all, my steering in my 1.8t feels quite stiff when turning right, but turning left feels absolutly fine. slightly worried that it could be an expensive job. I,m having a full service in the morning but wouldnt mind sorting it myself if i can.

no mate, only owned for a week, everything else is spot on by the feel of it, any ideas,

First thing to check is the cheap to correct stuff.

Have a look to see if one of the rack boots is twisted

i'll have a look tommorow after work, not causing me too much agro atm, might just get the garage to look at it and hope and pray its something small lol
