Hey guys how is everyone on this rather miserable day?
I have a pre facelift 8l 1.8t sport non Quattro I was wondering what size pads will I need and if anyone has any favourites or knows some decent pads for a pretty good price that would be So helpful :) thanks Neal have a good day

just get some ferrodo DS2500 from Bill @ badger 5 not sure on cost though.. as per size you dont need to worry about that if you got stock rear calipers.. just tell the merchant you want 1.8T FWD A3 rear pads :D

Just go for standard pads unless you track the car! The amount of braking the rears do isn't worth upgrading unless you have updated the fronts first.

Thanks guys I was jut wondering if there was any variants from say a sport to a Quattro version?

Just get std pads for the rear... Bill normally sells Pagid or Bosch... DS2500's are overkill for the rear (can unbalance the braking bias too) plus they have half the pad material of a std pad (IIRC)

I used Pagid pads on my last change... DS2500's up front though of course :D

<tuffty/>

im using tarox strada and F2000 discs all round front and rear...

I used to love the f2000 discs! Wish I got some lol! But standards on the rear, ferodos on the front!
