Is it normal for the quattro drive cars to pull to the left. If this is normal I'll be in the verge soon.

Are you on a cambered road?
IIRC they do tend to pull to the left a little, but I thought that was a trait on all Audi's? Better than pulling to the right, especially if you fall asleep at the wheel! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

My S3 tracks pretty much straight, unlike my Mate`s MINI Cooper which pulls badly to the left.
Find a straight, flat road and straddle the centre line, if it still pulls I`d get it looked at.

Ian, when I first got mine I thought it was pulling to the left, turns it was just quite fussy about cambered roads. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

If you do get it checked make sure you use specialists in 4WD vehicles. I foolishly got mine done at Kwik Fit!!!! I know, what was I thinking! Eventually found a good specialist who did the job properly, but expensively @ £75!
If your in the North West or dont mind a drive up here, Demon Tweeks in Wrexham do a full 4 wheel laser alignment and tracking check / adjustment, all for just under £40

know this sounds obvious but have you checked your tyre pressures? you only need to go over a few potholes on one side of the car and it can have an effect...

The steering wheel sits off centre when I'm driving straight. I've tried braking hard with hands of the steering and she goes left. Maybe I just aint got used to the car yet. I'll try the suggestions here and post after.
oh by the way! what PSI are you guys running your tyres at?

Noticed similar thing when I got my A3... Took back to Audi to get everything checked out and they did a full tracking check, column adjuctments etc... and found it to be spot on. They suggested it was to do with the car being VERY sensitive to the camber in the road, and suggested I try driving (When safe to do so) on the other side of the road and the car will pull with the camber to the right. Tried this (On a quiet stretch) and found it then pulled to the right. So it just seems that they are very sensitive to camber.
Just had a my steering column replaced too and found that even though all the steering geometry has been re-aligned as part of the fitting, this has made no difference so deffo camber sensitive.
One thing I did notice is if I had a high tyre pressure, around 33 on the front, the effect would be more pronounced, so try adjusting tyre pressures to suit.
