Handbrake cover removal???

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been covered before but I am trying to change the handbrake cover on my 1.8T from plastic to a leather S3 one and for the life of me I cant remove either cover no matter how hard I pull they wont shift, am I missing something is there a clip somewhere?

there should be scews i think on the 2 sides and one below the rear ashtray if not mistaken

There are three fixing points for the whole handbrake but I was hoping not to have to remove the centre console as I thought it must be possible to remove just the cover?

Brute force prevailed I gave it a sharp pull and off the cover came!! Thanks again
