as said i have a slight oil leak coming from the turbo oil feed.
previous owner fitted a new sump so im guessing its from then.

heres a pic:

do i use a paste gasket or is there a special gasket for it?
if so, can i get a link to it?

im gonna do a full service when i sort this out, may aswell.
thanks

Thats the oil drain not the oil feed and get a genuine metal gasket from a dealer or TPS :)

<tuffty/>

oh is it my bad lol
so its a gasket i need not a paste gasket?

could i get away with re-pasteing it?
im off to town in a bit so could pick up a tube of gasket paste?

anyone..?

and this is at the the bottom of my sump, are you sure its not the oil return pipe?

Ofcourse its the return pipe, how do you expect oil sat in the sump to magically pump itself uphill into the turbo?

As above, goto the dealer and buy the proper gasket. Its about 2 quid, and you'll be able to get one from any Audi, VW, Seat or Skoda dealer.

058145757A is the part number you need.

what? i asked as tuffy told me it was it was the oil drain not return pipe look above.

yeah i have one ordered which ill pick up tomoz.
