amk S3 fault codes please help :(

Hello there I'm fairly new to the forum and to Audi so any help would be amazing, one of my mates plugged into my car the other weak due to it throughing up the engine management light,esp and abs my front left wheel bearing is going to be replaced which could be 1 or 2 faults cleared, but for the others I'm very confused!.

If you could either post up the VCDS output or have a look here (Category:Fault Codes - Ross-Tech Wiki) first to get the descriptions that would help mate...

The codes by themselves don't mean alot...

For example... 17544 is:

17544/P1136/004406 - Ross-Tech Wiki

17544/P1136/004406 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean
Possible Solutions

Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
Check Fuel Pressure Regulator
Check Fuel Pump
Check Intake/Exhaust System for Leaks
Check Secondary Air Injection for Leaks
Check Vacuum Lines for Leaks

Special Notes

Fuel Trim Info
When this fault is stored and external vacuum leaks are not found, less obvious problems may be present:
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80)
Check Brake Booster and Hoses
Check Electric Vacuum Pump ( If Applicable )
Check Crankcase Ventilation System for faulty components

This indicates a big vacuum leak...

Have a look at the rest on the wiki and post up the ones you are not sure about...

Ohh thanks for that tuffty great help! I've done n249 bypass and I am running a 008p anywhere you would look for the leak?

Most leaks are in the pipes under the inlet manifold...
