Will it have any bad affects on how the car runs atall,I prefer the noise of the chatter from the turbo tbh,I know it can shorten the life of the turbo but my last car was a cosworth powered mk4 escort estate which had no dump valve atall and never had any problems, everything I've looked into for the cossies was always that the dump valve wasn't necessary unless you were running over 30psi

Removing the DV will damage the turbo... normally snaps the shaft in half... leave it on.. its a safety/reliability feature
