Just a quick note to say a big thankyou to star performance!

Just got back from driving round scotland (which was brilliant). On the way up though, the car broke. Managed to limp up to edinburgh, but the problem was it was a Saturday evening which meant nothing could be done until Monday (at the earliest). Had to stay another day in edinburgh, which was annoying as it messed up our carefully made plans, and gave Star performance a call frist thing monday morning. They told me to bring it straight in, and they had the car as new within no time! (and no doubt without the size of bill AUdi would have charged me).

Turned out two of the coils had gone (er, what are these?)

The coils which conect to the spark plug. (Sit on to of them) 2 min job to change. Replaces the old distributor cap design used in older cars.

i always carry a spare now after having one of mine die on me - worth it i think !when u see what happens to the car when one fails

 

If your a AA Member we carry them as spares on the van and there would be NO labour charge involved

As i work for the AA i can get staff discount if anyone is intrested
