I'm a little concerned on this point.

I bought my S3 a month ago from an Audi dealer and they told me it was freshly serviced with a stamped service book to back it up. The mileage indicator was reading 9300 miles to the next service which they told me was the standard figure that it resets to but that this would change as I put some miles on the car and that I could expect up to 19k between services. However, I've done about 2000 motorway miles since then and the service indicator is now telling me I need a service in 7000 miles. This seems odd? Would you believe at this point that it had been serviced as they said?

would you be able to find out the millage to the next service on a 1999T 1.8T or does it not tell u on this model? cheers.

just be patient m8 it should sort itself out.

If it's on the variable service schedule you should get a lot more than that between services, particularly if it's motorway miles. Might be worth a call to check.
