    Timing belt tensioner/ idler pulley

    Putting my cam belt on today and I was having difficulty, finally got it on but I'm sure its way too tight. I'm a bit confused as to how the tensioner and idler work, there just doesn't seem to be any adjustment.

    Hydraulic tension

    There is a tool that you wind it down with so you can refit a belt

    Ive got the belt on but it feels too tight, can only twist the belt about 45 degrees.
