Hi,
Recently took my S3 to a local garage to have my air conditioning boosted.
Car running fine with no problems before this.
Car handed back to me and air con working well so all fine UNTIL...........
.......get home and half hour later return to car to head off and it doesnt start.
Neighbours and i move the car off the drive and suddenly it starts. Take Mrs car instead, return home later and car starts 1st time, same next morning re going to work. However again lets me down when parked outside the gym at the end of that day. Luckily had some help to bump start the car. (Quite funny to see the faces of these guys thinking moving an S3 will be easy).
So question to you all is,
Do i pay the £200+ bill i receive? They said the fault was due to the crankshaft sensor being faulty and needing replacement. Just seems coincidental it is faulty after they had played with the air con.
Been charged seperatley also for Code Read and Labour, is this normal?
Also car was dropped off for them to sort it out but parts have been replaced without even being contacted.
Thoughts please?
