Had a corrosion problem with my power steering cooling pipe which runs across the front of the enginer bay. I need a new part which audi have quoted £220 + VAT for. Any help sourcing a more affordable pipe as this is high to me?

Thanks in advance.

I got my fridge engineer to make me the pipe up in 10 mm copper pipe ...took 20 mins
so ask a plumber to bend it to shape for a few quid...
its been perfect...:icon_thumright:

s3dave, that has been a great help. How long have you been running with the 10mm copper pipe? I suppose it was a simple job for a plumber?

Cheers!

I ha a hydraulics company replace the hardline up to the restrictor with flex hose.

Again, been fine since, cost £15

My son did his recently cost much less than Audi from a local supplier. If you cant find a better deal I will ask him.He says TPS charged about £50

Thanks all for the advice, went for the copper pipe in the end as it was at the garage today. Worked a treat and surprised the mechanic. Cheers
