quick brake question. how much do they weigh?

Hi all. Ive bought some brakes and im trykng to book a courier but i have no idea of the weight of these. Its the mk4 r32 set up. Calipers carriers discs and pads. Anybody have any idea as i dont have a clue. Thanks a lot. Daz

At a guess i would say 40kg max

With something that is usually over 20/25kg its usually a he'll of a lot cheaper to split into 2 or 3 parcels under this weight

On the money! the weigh more or less 40kgs which is crazy weight!

The entire 312mm set up which came on your car weighs around 26kgs.

The big brake set up i had on my old Bora weighed 19kgs

so you don't just get better braking you save around 10/20kg's in unsprung weight - which should knock at least 3 secs off your 1/4 mile time lol
