Cruise Control Enabling

Got my cruise control all fitted

Just a word of warning when you refit the wipermotor make sure the ignition is not left on (i left it on to reset the throttle body after having the battery disconnected)

As when i connected mine up the wipermotor started to operate and Jammed my index finger /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/swear.gif

which at the time was funny until i pulled my finger out and saw alot of blood /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Result 5 stitches and 3 hrs in the A&E

DOH /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif

Anyway has anyone in the oxford area have a VAG COM to enable the cruise control

Hi Nathan,

A number of us are going to be at a group fitting session in Thatcham Berks on Sunday. This is to fit the cruise control kits we all bought in a UKMKIV Group Buy. If you come along I or someone else can activate the cruise for you.
