Engine Splash Guard and MOT

So i got my engine splash guard ripped off on the beach yesterday just a quick question, is it really important and will it go through the MOT without it?

Yes! Its not a testable item so doesn't have to be there. Just make sure there aren't any bits remaining that are imminently going to fall off. He may advise on it but thats all he can do.
