help with 8l dash

im hoping someone here is a life saver lol

i have a 1.8 t a3 and have the dash with the none lcd clock in lower left. The pixels have gone on my dis. 6 months on and 2 dashs of ebay later, none still work

i tried Cluster Repairs UK - Instrument cluster speedometer repair, correction, modification and spares. to book me in in london and was told a slot was saved for me ( 4 weeks to wait ) called up to check booking and was told was never booked in

any one know where to get one? its the dash ending in 930

Book it in with them again or get a new lcd display and fit it yourself if you're good with a soldering iron.

well had my dash re done, but somehow the clock wont move or when pulling the knob out set? is there a way to reset it via vag? or do i just pull out pin and re put it in?

Shouldn't need resetting, it might have got damaged when they took it apart or not been put back properly. Get in contact with them and see what they say.

emailed, said if i take it back will sort it out, but thats 3 hrs turn around and 120 miles round trip, i may just remove and send to them as now i know is a 2 min job to take dash out.
