Focus RS - What BHP?? I had a tug with one last night

was wondering what BHP they were, i definalty had more power than him. But not much in it at all really.

Could it have been chipped?

They are standard 207bhp i think, but 0-60 time is around 5.5 seconds so even a chipped S3 wouldnt be much better than it.

well we were both flat out, wont say how fast but it nearly ended in a disaster.

Mines chipped remember, and running properly now...

Still reckon he had tinkered around with it, i only went for it as i could see he had a Road angel..

yeah but i've got mine chipped.

mines at least 260bhp

I've come up against standard S3s in my mapped one and to be fair not until fourth gear did I start to gain, by which time you're up to over 100mph. Even then, only slowly passed and crept away. A slow reaction or bodged change and you've lost your advantage.

Ive had both of these, my 250bhp RS was about the same as my last S3 of 280bhp and RS was quicker round the same track.

The RS powers thru the revs better from 5000
