Car struggling on start up!

When I start the car up it struggles to turn over as if there is a loss of power,

Last month I discovered that the battery was unsecured from the retaining clip and after driving over some really bumpy countryside roads I was getting the battery shaped light flashing I then secured the battery and all seemed ok, I was just wondering if I might have damaged the battery or the connections with having the battery unsecured?

Just check the battery cables are secure. Not just on the terminals. Follow the cables back.

If you have a multi meter, then you can check the battery voltage to make sure your getting round about 12v. If its fairly low then the battery might not be holding a charge, or a problem with the alternator.
