    is this for an a3 1.8 t ?

    as said is this cat back for an audi 1.8 turbo? eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
    i asked him, he said it is.
    checked that product number on the magnex webiste and it comes up with a golf 1.8t cat back.
    also im unsure if that looks right, like the bends in the pipe etc.
    ends tonight so if someone could have a look and tell me id be much appreicated.

    48mm pipes are small, a decent freeflow or after market exhaust is 63mm or 76mm depending on what sound you want and setup you have. Cheers

    What would be the result of 48mm pipes?

    It's probably like the standard size if not worse. Meaning you will get no improvement. Just buy a 2.5 or 3inch and know its going to work
    Word!!!

    My A3/Martys Golf would smash that, and this guys £7000 GT9743 supercharged love machine.

    My car is standard, not really looking for that improvement as of yet just a sportier sound.

    If your car is standard then it will be fine, probably better flowing than standard zorst, as it will be less restrictive, a too larger zorst can be detrimental to a turbo engine, as a curtain amount of back pressure is needed for the seals on the turbo work correctly.
