Front (rear) Control arm bushes TT / S3?

    Hi Guys,

I got a full front end bush kit from powerflex for my S3, and am about to have the (front) control arms done. After some research - the consensus is not to use the powerflex bushes on the rear of the the control arm as they can pop out/cause harshness. It has been suggested to use TT oem bushes instead. - I'm about to order them from Audi and want to get the correct part... anybody know what PN I need?

I'm planning to run with the powerflex bushes at the front of the control arms though...

    cheers,

    Justin

On my TT i have powerflex front and R32 rear bushes, and I was advised that powerflex rear bushes were "agricultural" and can fail early.

If the R32 ones are non voided then they are the same as the TT ones.... there are 2 types typically... voided and non voided... there may be a third type as the LCR's had harder rubber bushes than std on some parts of the suspension (top mounts and front wishbone bushes spring to mind...)

Only one part number listed for the R32 and thats the non-voided bush which is the same as the TT/S3 non-void bush. 8N0407181B £17.20 each plus vat.

Cactus green 8L S3 - B5 TIP + Jetex, Revised 007p, R32 rear ARB, AP Coilovers, Compbrake rear arms, Full Powerflexed dogbone.
