Spacers required for FK Highsports?

Is anyone running FK Highsport coilovers on their A3 1.8T with standard wheels?

Most websites I have looked at state that they may require the use of spacers if using standard wheels.

Also is it the norm to add spacers for any coilover kit?

No, you don't need spacers when lowering your car, they are more for aesthetics and when running bigger brakes (as usually the calipers are larger therefore requiring more clearance behind the spokes).
