o2 sensor test

Managed to get to my o2 sensor after an error code indicating that it may not be working. Is there a way to test.the sensor before i spend out money on a new one?

It can be tested using vcds, think there is a cat and sensor testing mode on one of the measuring blocks

What was the error code again? generally speaking they are not in a position where wiring is an issue... yours is an APY S3 isn't it? thats a narrow band lambda, not mega bucks tbh...

Ill dig the error code up later, about to watch american reunion . Noticed the garage over oiled my car, which causes the cat problems right? Could that have something to do with it?
