service cost?

hey can anyone advise-

what should a full service including the normal- spark plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter cost?

And if you add anti roll bar/ bushes to that list how much should it cost?

Even any ball park figures appreciated!

(Oh and to clarify- not from an audi dealer)....

Mick I just got mine done last week and haven't received the bill yet. I will let you know when I get it. It was a standard Stealer service in Cork.

Just remembered my last service was €552 and it included a full service and 4 new brake pads. Thought it was a bit steep myself IMHO.

No, it was a guestimate. Standard 20k service is about £170 at a specialist, probably easier just to hone one up and find out from the horses mouth. Call Vannessa at Autotechnik on +442380-666200, she'll give you a quote over the phone. But she's obviously not local to you.

2nd AVS service - between £286 - £308

40k additions:

Haldex oil & filter between £118 - £140

Brake fluid change between £59 - £79

I went to Ingram Audi in Ayr for the 2nd AVS, who are no longer a franchise dealership but still have an Audi approved workshop. I got all 3 above done for £330, where it would have cost between £486 and £505 if I went to one of the francise dealerships.

Good service too, and got an 05 plate A3 2.0 TDi for the day. I'm not a diesel fan, but I was well impressed with the torque from that car /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Thanks for the help- I collected my car yesterday from the garage- i had the following work done: oil, oil filter, air filter, ARB and bushes and drag link arms, Wipers replaced, General check/ road test

Haven't got the bill in paper yet but was told a figure of around 250 Euro!! i'm well happy!! Only problem now is that my tracking seems to be very slightly off again- would the ARB have affected this?

scratch that....too good to be true- costing me 360 Euro (about 250 sterling)....Can't complain though i suppose....
