Xenon headlights whats broken

Hi ya , was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. ive 8L facelight xenon's both work ok but there complete movement if i put my hand in and move them up and down . are there any threads with picture's as to whats broken, if not would it be worth taking them out and repairing or would new xexon be needed. if i was to buy halogen could i swap out the d2s fitting or would it be easier to buy a HID conversion for the H7 fittment.

Might be the clips for the self levelling adjusters. Remove the electric adjusters - if they come out easily the clips have probably broken.

There's a sticky about this at the top of the forum about getting replacement clips made up.
