As the title says really, I have spent a lot of time looking but not really found any definitive answers. I know there is one method which involves curing with a UV light and is very expensive. Are there any 'conditioning products' anyone has found? So far I have found these that may help but it's still unclear! (excuse the pun)

Castrol Silicon Spray - 400ml - SPORTSBIKESHOP

Has anyone that has used the method of wet and dry then buffing had any rapid deterioation (sp) yet?

EDIT....

Just re read your post... damn skim reading... :)

Well... I don't have any protection on mine and I know they don't look quite as good as maybe when I did them looking at the photos... that said I am going to redo them as part of the spring/summer detail and look to bung clear laminx on them and see what happens

haha, no problem :yum: I was going to say that the sticky thread is what had inspired me to do it in the first place! :)

Although I also re read the sticky and realised I missed the lamin x part and will look into that now!
