Heater Matrix

The water in my water bottle in the engine bay keeps going down and the floor on the passenger side is wet. I was told by someone that the problem could be a hole in my heater matrix.
Can anyone help me by letting me know how much a heater matrix is and how to fit it in. Do i remove the dash fully?

its a bit of a bummer. Centre console - both parts, glovebox and then the whole airbox out of the dash. This involves cutting a metal brace out of the way - According to the ElsaWin (or bending as I did) There is even more to disconnect if there is aircon too.

how did you get it back in?? iv took mine out to change the matrix and its not going back in... any tips?
