Seat Problem............. :o( (ps seat as in seat, not the car make)

For some reason my drivers side seat has bost. It's meant to rise up and lean forward to get access to back seats. The leaning forward and back is fine but its not sinking down and clicking into place. When I get out the car it rises back up.

Has this happened to anyone else? Hope I don't need to buy a new seat!

going to AMD for remap tomorrow so will get them to have quick look but they'll be busy no doubt. Will get my local garage to take seat out and give it a good prod. Wonder if this ia a normal occurance?

that is very useful mate. Will take the pic with me and get amd to bend it back for me.

Did think that had something to do with it and tried to bend it a bit but wouldn't budge.

Will let you know what they say tomorrow!

Yeah, I had the same a while back. Get it fixed, 'cos if you have a shunt then your seat could tip you forwards and that could get very very nasty.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago... Except mine is completely ******! In the end i arranged it to the seat is locked to the floor and when you pull the tilt handle, just the seat back goes forward.
