Car pulls better when abs light is on?

How come by car genuinely feels better when my abs light is on? Im not kidding... Lol.. I first noticed it last week, then again last night my abs light was on and it feels like it pulls alot more...!?

why is your ABS light off, have you turned your EPS off? Do you mean it pulls better from a standing start or from a rolling start?

if ur pressing the esp button (brings the triangle up on the clocks) this is turning the traction control off, and not limiting power when it detects wheel slip,

Sorry, its a 99, and it only comes on everynow and then?!?

does it flicker on and off on the dash or on continious?

Just comes on... It has come on once or twice after i go full throttle, without pressing the brake

Faulty Haldex controller? If it's broke, the ABS comes on, and you have no 4wd, which = car goes faster, as less transmission losses...

Hmmm good thinking, i may when its on next see if the fronts spin up.. Would that sort of show the haldex aint working?

Well yes because there'll be no drive to the rear. Surprised you haven't already felt the fronts slipping if this is the case though.
